Panforte di siena
Panforte is a medieval fruitcake, a typical sweet that represents the creative and overwhelming nature of Siena. Honey, almonds, candied fruit, spices… A rich and lavish recipe, just like the tradition of this city.
panforte margherita
This is the classic and most diffused version of Panforte, created in 1879 in the name of the Queen Margherita during her visit in Siena. A more balanced taste that gives it a delicate and elegant flavor.
Ingredients: Almonds, sugar, candied orange, candied citron, wheat flour, honey, spices, flavourings, rice paper.
Panforte nero
The original medieval recepie. Experience the strong taste of the spices and dive in to the pure sienese tradition. An intense and enveloping spur of spices able to bring you back in time.
Ingredients: Almonds, sugar, candied melon, candied orange, wheat flour, honey, spices, bitter cocoa, flavourings, rice paper.
Panforte fichi e noci
A different and alternative version of the classic panforte, which replaces the almonds with the warm taste of walnuts, and accompanies it with delicious dried figs. A very fanciful contrast.
Ingredients: Dried figs, walnuts, sugar, wheat flour, glucose syrup, honey, spices, flavourings, starch wafers.
May contain traces of other types of nuts, lecithin, milk and eggs.
panforte fiorito
A sweeter and more delicate version that will delight you with a very soft layer of almond paste.
Ingredients: Almonds, sugar, candied melon, candied orange, wheat flour, honey, spices, bitter cocoa, flavourings, rice paper.
panforte al cioccolato
The maximum of taste. A panforte entirely covered with a casting of dark chocolate. The flavor of spices and almonds blends with the inimitable taste of chocolate.
